Meyerland

Meyerland is a thriving, close-knit community located in southwest Houston, sought after for its accessibility and friendly neighbors.

Located just south of Bellaire, this neighborhood is centrally located with Linkwood/Woodside to its east and Sharpstown to the west. Residents use Loop 610 as a major thoroughfare. Meyerland lies just outside Loop 610. Meyerland is just minutes away from key Houston hubs, including the Museum District, downtown, the Medical Center and the Galleria.

Founded in 1958, Meyerland sprawls across 6,000 acres. It is one of the most beautiful residential communities with scores of magnificent mid-century modern homes.

It is also a pioneer in community planning, having adopted deed restrictions at the time of its founding. These restrictions prevent certain types of development from curtailing the open space and neighborliness of the community.

Both the Meyerland Community Improvement Association and the residents themselves actively strive to maintain peace and quiet within the neighborhood.
